It will only take you approximately 40 minutes’ drive from the Penang International Airport to the hotel and about 8 minutes to the Ferry Terminal where you are able to catch the ferry to Pulau Payar, Langkawi, Thailand and across to mainland Penang.

Penang International Airport allows for good air connectivity to the many attractions Penang has to offer. Some of the major airlines operating out of the airport include Malaysia Airlines, SilkAir, Thai Airways International, Tiger Airways, Jetstar Asia Airways, Dragonair, Hong Kong Express Airways, China Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Lion Air, Sriwijaya Air and Wings Air. Domestically, how to reach Penang by air is easy with several regular flights operating between Penang and the cities of Kuala Lumpur, Kuching, Kota Kinabalu, Johor Bahru, Langkawi and Kota Bharu. There are also several flights operating to and from international destinations like Singapore, Bangkok, Jakarta, Hong Kong, Taipei and Guangzhou providing for regular air connectivity between these cities and Penang. 

Penang attractions are connected to the railways by the Butterworth railway station, which is located on the mainland near the main ferry boarding point. There are regular train services that connect Penang tourist places to Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Singapore and even Bangkok.

Penang tourist places are well connected via many bus services to other locations in Malaysia like Kuala Lumpur, Kota Bharu, and the Perhentian Islands. The main point for boarding buses is the new bus terminal at Sungai Nibong that is about 12 km from the city centre.
