Guangzhou Railway station serves the city and sits on the high speed Guangshen railway just west of Guangzhou East. It is one of the busiest railway stations in southern China and there are high speed trains to Hong Kong and Shenzen available, along with trains to Lhasa and Beijing

There are 10 coach stations in Guangzhou with routes to different cities and counties of the region. Most of the routes ply on the well-maintained and modern GuangFo and GuangHua highways. Coaches are of many types and there are deluxe buses to Hong Kong, Macau, Shenzen and several other destinations.
