We travelled to your property at Jim Corbett and had a gorgeous Holiday. We were a group of four senior citizens, we decided not to take our car from NCR/Delhi but travel in comfort by an overnight train to Ramnagar which reaches at, what some would call an unearthly hour… 05.30am. We had organized with the resort to be picked up from the station after 06.30am and we reached the resort 12 KM away driving through the Dawn. The resort was beautiful .. on a sprawling 8 acre property by the Riverside with more than 70 Rooms done in Cottage style (an excellent tie-up made by Kalson Holidays And Suites for only 12 rooms in the Reception Block). These rooms, mind you, are done up very well and are Large and Comfortable and are very clean and well maintained. As we had reached early, we spent the morning sitting in the restaurant porch beside the river, sipping hot tea & coffee which was very welcoming after our journey & took a walk around the excellently Landscaped Property. We later checked-in & came back to the restaurant for a memorable multi-cuisine breakfast. We did not need to go out and spent most of our time relaxing & walking around the resort premises, enjoying the excellent food catered by the chef and his team. The evening movie on Tigers was very educative. We went out only once to spend some time in the town and for the safari in the afternoon, we spotted different types of deer and elephants on several occasions, a Neelgai and a barking deer, but most important we were lucky to spot a Tiger. We spent time relaxing, reading books and chilling….. which was what we wanted to do… far away from the hustle bustle of maddening crowds. Will go back again definitely!
