Valencia is also an important rail hub, with international, inter-city and regional services. The main station is the\u00a0Estaci\u00f3n del Norte<\/strong>, located in the heart of the city, with services running to major Spanish cities. The main services are the AVE high-speed trains which cover the distance between Madrid and Valencia in around 100 minutes, and the\u00a0Euromed<\/strong>\u00a0services, which offer connections between Valencia and Barcelona in about three hours.
