Jakarta has two major airports in and around it. The largest airport is the Soekarno\u2013Hatta International Airport located about 20 kilometers from central Jakarta in a north westerly direction. This is the eighteenth busiest airport in the world and is very well connected by flights from all around the globe, to and from places like Singapore, Hongkong, Abu-Dhabi, Tokyo, Sydney, Amsterdam, Istanbul and many others. Some of the airlines that serve this airport are Air China, AirAsia, Thai Airways, Emirates, Etihad, Garuda Indonesia, Korean Air, Singapore Airlines, KLM, Quantas and many others. Indonesia has a widespread train network which is publicly owned. The train networks are separated within the islands of Sumatra, Bali and Java. Jakarta being on the island of Bali is very well connected by intercity train services. Argo Bromo Anggrek is one such train service that connects Surabaya to Jakarta. Indonesia has a decent road network to connect various cities within the islands of Sumatra, Bali and Java. Buses are mostly run between the big cities which are the regional hubs and smaller towns. Jakarta is on the island of Java, which is the most populous island in the world and there are bus services from other cities and smaller towns within the region to here. Shuttle buses regularly ply from Bandung to Jakarta airport and is primarily targeted towards tourists and backpackers.
